Self Promotion - Website

I got my cargo site up and running so I have a platform to put up my work for others to see. It also is somewhere I can now direct people to if they would like to see my work.

The link is:
http://cargocollective.com/kirstyhair

This is how it looks:

The projects pages pop up in a separate box with a slideshow of the images and a brief summary of the project.

The projects included at the moment are:
-Fedrigoni Imaginative Colours - YCN brief
-Firefly Restaurant - self initiated
-M&S Plan A - YCN brief
-LCA Graduation - self initiated - pitch
-Devilicious Ice-Cream parlour - self initiated

I will add more projects from my FMP once they are completed, but for now I have included a good range of different briefs.

Stop being so boring

Here are a few key points from the Snask manifesto. Read them, learn them, hate them and, in the end, understand them and love them:

• If you don’t like your work, quit
• If you love someone, let it show
• Generosity always pays itself back
• Always smile when you talk to an
annoying person on the phone
• If you want to be a rock star, don’t
study graphic design
• Talk with clients in the same way that
you talk to your family, friends and pets
• Social skills are as important as
knowing how to set type and spell
• See people as people, not target groups
• Just because you wear a black suit, it
doesn’t mean you’re successful
• Having enemies is good and necessary
• Work hard for your clients: it pays off
• If you look too cute, smile
• Luck doesn’t exist: don’t be lazy
• Learn typography, it’s not optional
• Keep it simple, not tedious
